The platform fee scales with how many payments fail. The second fee is charged only on a payment that was recovered, measured against a held-out control group, so you and we can both recompute it from invoice ids. How it works

Free recovery audit. We look at your recent failed-payment volume and estimate what is realistically recoverable, in real money, before you commit to anything.
We set it live. PayPilot connects to your billing, diagnoses each failed charge, schedules the right retry, and drafts the recovery message - so involuntary churn stops leaking revenue.
You pay a platform fee and a recovery fee. The platform fee covers running PayPilot on your billing. The recovery fee applies only to a payment that comes back, and is measured against a held-out control group rather than argued about afterwards. Both are agreed in your engagement.

Why a recovery fee measured against a control group

Failed subscription payments are measurable money, and the usual dispute is which of them would have been paid anyway. A held-out share of failures is recorded and never messaged, so the recovery fee is billed against a measured difference that either side can recompute. The holdout share is set per deployment and is zero on the live demo, which carries no client traffic.
